The Alabama Grand Slammers will host the 2018 Alabama Baseball Preseason BBQ
& Fan Day on Saturday, February 10th at 1:30 pm. This year's event will once
again be held in the North Zone of Bryant-Denny Stadium. New Tide Head
Baseball Coach Brad Bohannon will be on hand to introduce his team & staff,
while providing a preview of the upcoming 2018 UA season. Team posters will
be available for attending fans, perfect for obtaining autographs while
meeting their favorite Crimson
Tide players. A delicious meal will be provided by the Crimson Smokers.
Admission price for the public is $15 each, with Grand Slammers Membership
signups also available as you enter. Proceeds from the BBQ will go toward
projects supporting the Alabama Baseball program. Door prize drawings will
be held near the end of the program. The event should conclude in plenty of
time to allow attendees to head over to Coleman Coliseum for the 5:00 pm
men's basketball game against Tennessee.
The team is scheduled to hold one of their final preseason scrimmages in
Sewell-Thomas Stadium prior to the BBQ.
